About

Antara Yoga is founded in a solid,
dedicated and well rounded yoga practice of varying styles and teachings over a period of 12 years.

The name Antara comes from the Sanskrit word meaning ‘space, spaciousness or the space between two things’. Antara Yoga believes that with a regular yoga pratcice one can attain space within ones mind, body and life.

The space you create within your body allows vital energy to move freely throughout all of the tissues. This free-flow of energy helps to maintain and repair the major systems of the body, bringing vitality and a long and healthy life.

The space created in the mind, brings mental clarity and calmness, increases body awareness, relaxes the mind, centers attention and sharpens concentration and enables us to live in the present moment and trust our intuition.

Toni the teacher for Antara Yoga has practiced varying styles of yoga for many years and has great pleasure in teaching Pranayama, Asana, Meditation, Mantra, Bandha and Mudra; the components of Yoga, to students of all ages, whether they be beginner, intermediate or advanced practicioners.

Toni is a 500 hour registered teacher with the Yoga Alliance UK and has over 2000 hours of teaching experience.

Toni is also Principal assistant on the teacher training programme for Yogahaven .
